It started with a basement and an idea, then became a Chicago nightlife institution. Spybar nightclub has been the literal underground music destination in Chicago for more than 25 years. It brings together the energy of a high-octane club with a welcoming, intimate lounge setting. The small room with the big sound on Franklin St. and Erie St. consistently presents globally recognized artists as well as up-and-coming producers and DJs, paired with talented resident and regional DJs. Some of the biggest festival and international party brands and record labels throw events which keep the dance floor packed ’til the early hours.

Spybar is a cozy 4,500 square feet featuring minimal decor and few tables, keeping all guests close to the artists and the action. On any given night, people from across town and across the world, from house heads to techno snobs, dance floor enthusiasts and everyone in between come together on the dancefloor at Spybar.
